The Senior Analyst, Finance Diamond Divison provides operational finance support for Diamond Supply inventory operations. Inventory operations include ~$600M Diamond & Gemstones, $200M Jewelry Supply, $65M Virtual Vendor. The senior analyst's role will focus on delivering accurate and insightful analytics to support effective operational decision making regarding Tiffany's purchases for inventory and manufacturing operations. In addition, provide effective analytics for product costs, processes and financial reporting. This role will directly support all inventory management leadership.
Inventory Financial Support
Supports Inventory Leaders on annual budget, forecasting, & financial analysis, etc.
Works closely with plant finance to record, track, reconcile inventory movements between manufacturing facilities, including Aged PO's
Manage operational measurements, such as inventory cycle times, through put timing, forward coverage, etc
Supports worldwide internal manufacturing, financial reporting, analysis and cost updates.
Ensure explanation of forecast changes and operational drivers in regard to inventory
Connects the forecast position across all inventory functions to ensure alignment
Analysis & Metrics
Delivers accurate and insightful analytics to support effective operational decision making.
Prepares and analyzes monthly dashboard of performance KPIs
Own all financial elements of key inventory projects, such as yellow diamond reduction and Lucida recut
Ensure all diamond swap analytics are completed ensure accurate data and communication with cross functional accounting teams
Partners with inventory teams to measure and provide analysis for savings
Subject matter expert understands and is able to analyze the inventory flows and how non-finance reported metrics are derived
Other ad hoc analysis and projects as required.
Process Improvement Initiatives
Enhance analytical tools and methodologies for increased automation and efficiency.
Evaluate all aged open PO's and suggest improvements for subcontracting locations
Partner with local finance teams to identify and resolve inventory integrity issues and coordinate resolutions.
Demonstrate safety leadership by adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures.
Recognize and positively reinforce good safety behaviors while delivering immediate, specific and constructive feedback to employees who demonstrate unsafe work behavior.
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office software with advanced excel skills
Willing to work flexible hours during month & year-end closings, as well as special assignments when requested
JD Edwards financial software knowledge
MRP experience/Manufacturing accounting knowledge
