Position Summary

Central to our continued growth and sustainability is JetBlue's commitment to discovering, inspiring, and cultivating a diverse range of talents and markets. The Senior Analyst, Diversity & Inclusion is responsible for assisting with the execution of diversity and inclusion programs that serve and engage a varied mix of Crewmembers, Customers and Communities. The Senior Analyst supports strategy development, cultural awareness workshops, Crewmember Resource Groups, and communicating our diversity and inclusion journey.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support the cross-functional development and implementation of Diversity & Inclusion strategies and initiatives, including program design and management.

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, identify key insights, and synthesize data for presentations and reports; data includes internal HR information systems records, program success metrics, and information from external partners (surveys, benchmarking reports, trade publications, etc.).

  • Support the D&I data alignment among key stakeholder groups such as Talent Acquisition, People Data Insights, Strategic Sourcing, and Sustainability

  • Manage accountability framework for Diversity & Inclusion (e.g. executive council management, dashboard development, etc.)

  • Act as an ambassador for JetBlue's commitment to Diversity & Inclusion internally and externally.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, I/O Psychology, Psychology, Adult Education or related field with interest in Diversity & Inclusion and/or Intercultural Relations.

  • Three (3) years analytical experience

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy.

  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills with particular attention to detail in composing data reports, presentations and general communications.

  • Proficient in event planning and event management.

  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with people of diverse backgrounds.

  • Strong customer service orientation with a team player mindset and ability to be flexible, work independently, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Efficient in Microsoft Office programs (including but not limited to PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint).

  • Available for occasional international and/or domestic overnight travel (10%).

  • In possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel and out of the United States.

  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test.

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, HR or I/O Psychology, Psychology, Cross-Cultural Communications, Intercultural Studies or Adult Education.

  • Two (2) years Business and/or Human Resources experience in the Airlines industry or a general corporate setting.

  • Project management certification.

  • Diversity recruiting certification.

  • Familiarity research methods such as conducting interviews, administering surveys, facilitating focus groups, and synthesis of data.

  • Experience designing and delivering creative programs that drive cross-cultural competence.

  • Written and verbal fluency in Spanish

Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality.

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.

  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance.

  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.

  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun and Passion.

  • Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards

  • Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report(SAR))
