The Digital Marketing Senior Analyst will drive insights and recommendations across MGM's digital marketing platforms focused on channel trends, attribution modeling, media spend impact, digital effectiveness, engagement trends, booking behaviors and more. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for providing insights, analysis and presenting recommendations to business partners.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate across teams; Enterprise Analytics, Media, Direct Marketing and E-commerce to develop analytical capabilities, identify trends and insights impacting website conversion and present findings.
Query large datasets to investigate key business trends, performance, issues, and behaviors. Review findings and make recommendations to the EA leadership and business partners.
Identify marketing insights and recommendations to optimize the acquisition of customers.
Support the development of methodologies to measure and improve the effectiveness of media spend across multiple touchpoints, brands and business units through the implementation of governance and standardization around digital data.
Develop dashboards and insights to highlight performance and areas of opportunity for both email and media.
Perform ad-hoc data analysis and priortize current projects against incoming requests to meet needs of the business.
QA/QC data and analysis to ensure accuracy.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Analytics, Finance, or related fields; or equivalent education and work experience.
At least two (2) years of experience in the relevant subject area expertise (e.g. industry or function) with experience in driving business performance through operational insights and analytics.
Experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
Experience with Microsoft Suite.
Experience in writing and executing SQL or SAS queries.
Advanced experience in writing and executing SQL or SAS queries.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Master's degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience in hospitality marketing.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
