Role Description
The Senior Analyst, Cloud GTM (Go-to-Market) Strategy and Operations will play a crucial role in supporting the explosive growth of Salesforce products. This role is a hybrid of traditional roles in strategic planning, sales strategy, finance, and analytics - requiring a mix of market & business analysis, sales optimization, and business operational support.
This role is part of a high-performance, results oriented team that values innovation. Success in this role means assisting leadership to drive the continued success of Salesforce by supporting our product growth strategy. Sample projects range from the strategic to the operational including designing & building new data visualization tools, evaluating worldwide market opportunities, business planning, market segmentation, sales pipeline analysis, scale & automation efforts and regular review of key performance metrics.
Deliverables include detailed analytic models, custom performance analysis, building a scalable reporting infrastructure, and packaging findings into presentation-ready content for Salesforce executives. The role requires interaction with multiple functional teams in the organization (such as Finance, Operations, Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success) and provides exposure to senior executives. The successful candidate will have relentless curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities. They will be comfortable diving into large datasets, excel at extracting insights from data, and converting ideas to action.
Your Impact
Build tools and dashboards that help stakeholders derive new insights & learnings
Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations
Own and manage product reporting/ organization for all of Salesforce
Design and interpret key performance metrics; deliver insights & recommendations
Find new ways to automate existing processes and drive process improvements
Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives
Support strategic initiatives including evaluating areas of opportunity for the businesses
Troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/ processes to fix root causes
Prepare analysis and recommendations for strategic decision making
Minimum Requirements
Senior Analyst 4+ years work experience focused on quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and logical reasoning
Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
Exceptional problem solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions
Proficiency in aggregating large datasets using SQL or Python
High degree of comfort running complex analyses and modeling Google Sheets or Tableau
Strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
Work experience in management consulting, finance, product management, sales strategy, or sales operations is a plus
