In this role, the Senior Analyst
Analytic Services will support the overall analytics program for the Campbell's Enterprise with in-direct accountability to the C-Suite Leadership Team. You will develop and manage analytic initiatives supporting enterprise business priorities sponsored by Corporate Stakeholders; and apply analytics mastery to connect the business community and the IT Business Intelligence Services, Data Science and Business Analytics
In this role you will collect, clarify, prioritize, and translate business requirements into solutions that deliver insights and actionable recommendations to drive disproportionate value to the Campbell's business.
You will be expected to support and deliver hands-on analyses to Corporate stakeholders, becoming an innovation source for scale analytics development.
You will bring your strong science and/or analytical background, knowledge of the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) business, commercial processes, advance statistics, leadership presence and engagement using your strong written and verbal communication skills to influence other by articulating complex analytics in practical terms to business partners to facilitate adoption and execution.
Essential responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Support stakeholders to identify areas where Business Intelligence and Analytics can bring disruptive value.
Partner with and provide accountability to the Campbell's C-Suite Leadership Team to deliver analytics priorities based on direction from Senior Manager.
Using corporate reporting tools and analysis including Media and Shopper Optimization to deliver analytics that support commercial business processes and drive decision making.
Work jointly with IT Data & Analytics' Data Science, Business Intelligence Services, and Business Analytics on analytics to deliver solutions.
Create meaningful data visualizations to communicate findings to generate buy-in and business impact.
Implementing automation to maximize productivity, proactively identify pockets of analytical work that could be accelerated, augmented or replaced by automation.
Responsible for ongoing end user enablement and sustainability programs with respect to data and analytics, including delivering training and maintaining knowledge repositories to drive more effective use of information assets.
Corporate leadership has many urgent questions and will require someone knowledgeable and capable of connecting the right data sources / metrics to facilitate a deep understanding of results that may need to be coordinated amongst cross functional stakeholders.
Capable of pulling together analysis and creating a presentation to communicate the results in an easily understandable way by the business.
Another challenge is balancing the need for consolidated reporting vs. the delivery of more advanced analyses, this will require a close partnership with our data partners such as IRI and internal peer partners such as BI Services, Data Science and Business Analytics to facilitate automation while demonstrating to leadership the power of analytics in order to keep "elevating" the analytical deliverables beyond operational reporting.
We are looking for the following abilities and skills:
Minimum education required:
Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts required in a science or business-related degree such as, but not limited to, computer science, engineering, marketing, statistics, analytics, economics, or other related fields.
Years of relevant experience:
6+ years of experience in Commercial Analytics or equivalent experience required. Experience supporting information systems in that domain preferred.
CPG experience desirable.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
Experience training all levels of functional business stakeholders on business intelligence technologies required.
Experience with Power BI and MicroStrategy preferred; Other visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlik desirable.
Experience in syndicated data and vendor tools i.e., IRI or Nielsen preferred
Ability to test hypothesis and select statistical methods to deliver actionable insights
Solid visualization and UX design skills preferred.
Solid knowledge of data warehousing design theory preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with functional business customers at all organizational levels.
Normal office environment.
Travel: Anticipated as 20% to 30%. Depending on location selected will be required to travel to the alternative location on a consistent basis as needed by the business operations.
