Position Summary:

Conduct senior-level business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in order to align information technology solutions with business delivery initiatives.

  • Serve as a liaison between the business and IT to provide technical and business solutions that meet user needs.

  • Under general supervision, formulate and define system scope and objectives through research as well as an understanding of the applicable business systems and industry requirements.

  • Translate high-level business requirements to functional specifications for IT and manage changes to those specifications.

  • Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between the business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.

  • Analyze and understand a business operation's strengths and weaknesses to identify opportunities for automating processes and functions.

  • Possess expert knowledge of the business unit(s) they are supporting, understand IT systems and capabilities, help educate IT on the direction of the business, and has a good understanding of technology trends in order to develop solutions for the business units supported that enhance the competitive edge of the enterprise.

  • As applicable, may lead small to medium, low-complexity projects.

  • Create business requirements and other documents in support of projects.

  • Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in order to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.

  • Analyzes and evaluates existing and/or proposed systems.

  • Lead process configuration design activities.

  • Collaborates with functional design and assist teams in providing configuration solutions for business requirements.

  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

  • Provides information, guidance, and assistance to more junior level employees.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Work Experience Required:

  • Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 5 years

This includes desktop / laptop computers, applications, phones, hardware, and printers. You will also be responsible for testing and deploying desktop imaging updates and platform patches, hardware and software life-cycle management and basic server administration, deployment, qualification and troubleshooting. In addition, you will participate in at least one global platform support team and project management activities. train junior staff on security administration and operations procedures, and Provide off-hours support as required by the business. Responsibilities: * Provides Third Level Call Center Support. Responsible for answering calls and assignments from end users and fellow analysts in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner following standard procedures. Performs on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of a variety issues ranging from a standard pc failure to an outage that affects manufacturing. * Provide application packaging and deployment through the use of company approved software distribution mechanisms. Responsible to test and deploy desktop image updates and platform patches as released. Participation in a least one global platform support team. * Responsible for Hardware and Software life-cycle management including the identification and evaluation of new software/hardware alternatives for handling present and future business requirements. * Provide overflow support for account administration and Data Center operations in times of need. Provide advanced support for remotely connected and travelling users. Identifies and responds to threats of information security. Support security platform refresh cycles and train junior staff on updated security administration procedures. * Oversee all activities of Data Center operations such as data backup and restore, execution of production batch jobs, physical data center security, and systems monitoring. Ensure operation and service documentation (i.e. SOP, Schedules, internal procedures, etc.) are adequate and up-to-date. Train junior staff on updates to operations procedures. * Perform basic server administration, deployment, qualification and troubleshooting. Liaise with engineers to provide sound solutions to problems that can be utilized by other CSL sites. * Maintains up-to-date knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure correct response in time of crisis. * Recommends, schedules, hardware and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs. Accurately documents instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal. All quality and regulatory procedures and documentation requirements must be followed. * Prepares and monitors the departmental budget for areas of functional responsibility. Participates in project management activities as identified by the various projects implemented. Organization that can include a leadership role in the support of global applications. * Ensure all processes relevant to the sphere of the responsibility are fully documented and up to date. Develop procedure documentation for new applications or platforms and provide training as required. Required Skills & Experience: * 5+ years of related work experience required that provides advanced technical knowledge of PC and notebook hardware/software, printers and network, including hands-on troubleshooting experience. * Hardware: desktops and laptops, LaserJet printers, Zebra Printers, mobile phones, thin clients, Cisco routers, Avaya phones * Proficiency on software packaging and deployment (MS SCCM) * Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Office, Windows, etc * Networking: high knowledge of Ethernet networking (CCNA) * Cloud technologies: O365, Plateau, inContact, WorkDay * Virtual technologies: VDI, VMware, virtual servers * Strong communication and customer service skills * Major Incident Management Education & Certifications: * Associate's Degree required.
