The Senior Allocator supports the Head of Merchandise Trading to trade effectively stores in Turkey. Establish the initial allocation plan of new collections in alignment with the OTB budget pre-season and OTB spend in-season. Execute in season replenishment of product to all stores, to meet Stock Targets. Conduct on-going analysis to assess replenishment algorithms for continuity categories/items and new launches. Creates and adjusts seasonality curves to match the replenishment orders with anticipated sales volume. Manage promotions and special orders. Maintain and update store grading in line with Sales budget and actual results.


Allocation & replenishment

  • Develop and execute initial allocation and replenishment of product to all stores

  • Manage the assortment order for new store openings

  • Provide on-going analysis on OTB performance, both pre-season and in-season;

  • Monitor and manage overall store inventory levels based on store capacity, attributes, seasonality and selling curves

  • Monitor and manage store inventory levels at the style/color/size level

  • Update and validate the replenishment algorithms in TXT for continuity categories/items and new launches

  • Monitor and drive the store performance in order to meet WOC targets, maximize sell through and the ROS

  • Monitor exceptions on merchandise stock levels and recommend necessary adjustments

  • Analyze store geographic, size selling, and create appropriate distribution strategies to optimize inventory levels (recommends product category store transfers and consolidations)

  • Create and maintain weekly allocation report and track all open orders during the shipping season

  • Liase regularly with local Team in Turkey

Analysis & Reporting

  • Maintain weekly WSSI by store and Market

  • Maintain all reports related to Merchandising KPIs for the market

  • Ad hoc reporting where necessary


  • University Degree

  • Fluent in English

  • Advanced mastery of Excel and Planning Tools.

  • Ability in merchandise planning and inventory management.

  • Demonstrable project management expertise.

  • Sound working knowledge of business systems and data mining.

  • Strong analytical skills.

Major Responsibilities * Coordinates with various JDA resources and departments to secure and present appropriate proposal information to prospective and existing clients * Communicates customer requirements to New Product Development/Product Management Group * Serves as the liaison between the client and implementation team to facilitate successful project implementations * Communicates issues and concerns about client and coordinates the transition meeting with the implementation team * Provides value to the Customer Relations Manager or Account Manager during the sales cycle * Works with Marketing to develop collateral product support materials and promote JDA events and trade shows * Prepares extensively prior to a sales engagement with internal JDA business areas i.e., Sales Mgmt, Services AM's, CRM's ensuring maximum efficiency once the sales engagement begins * Works in partnership with CRMs/ SEs to present additional solutions to current clients to solve their business needs * Becomes directly involved with potential customers via proposal requests or actively prospecting for new business opportunities * In collaboration with Sales Manager or CRM/SE, presents product functionality and benefits to prospective clients * Customizes presentations to address prospective client's business needs * Demonstrates how the proposed methodology can add substantial value in replacing the client's current business environment * Articulates and demonstrates the value proposition of JDA solutions and multiple product sets to the prospective client * Establishes relationship with the primary decision maker to facilitate future business development * Works closely with the customer in discovery sessions and ongoing follow-up discussions to ensure clear and concise communication is taking place * Considers the margin impact in preparing request for proposal * Controls personal spending and provides fiscal management during a sales cycle * Completes assigned work within allotted time * Keeps individual expenses within budget * Records billable time to customer, as appropriate * Records cost-transfer time to other JDA teams, as appropriate * Escalates issues that may have negative financial impact Required Skills: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED: * 5+ years' experience in a pre-sales or consulting role * Strong knowledge of TMS, processes, procedures and best practices (Knowledge of JDA Transportation suite of products preferred) * Strong knowledge of Supply Chain in particular Demand Replenishment. * Strong communications skills with the ability to guide an audience through clear, concise communication techniques. * Ability to collaboratively work with other team members to achieve desired goals and objectives both internal and external. * Effective public speaking skills with the ability to control an audience convey necessary concepts and overcome objections. * Flexible team player with the desire to pursue personal and team improvement.
