Senior Algorithm Scientist (Biosignal)

We are looking for a Senior Algorithm Scientist-biosignal to join us and systematically and efficiently develop and validate our existing and next-gen HW products. The quality of the signals we acquire using Oura rings is fundamental to how we empower Oura members. You will be one of the key team members at Oura, driving high quality and consistency of the biosignals.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain internal signal evaluation tools and libraries to help Oura's hardware teams (electronics, mechanics, optics) and firmware teams optimize current and next-generation products

• Design and conduct studies to evaluate the signal quality of hardware and firmware prototypes and draw meaningful and actionable conclusions

• Support the incorporation of new sensing modalities into next-generation products by conducting thorough signal quality evaluations and providing scientifically-backed guidance to other teams

• Contribute to the development and validation of front-end signal control and processing algorithms for Oura features/products

• Integrate automated signal quality evaluation tools into cloud data pipelines

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders around the globe
