Description:This position is part of the team supporting Lockheed Martin F-35 aircraft maintenance operations at Luke AFB, AZ. The selected individual will be aligned under the Lockheed Martin aircraft maintenance management team and will monitor day-to-day F-35 maintenance and flight operations. Will analyze trends and deficiencies in areas such as equipment performance, material consumption, scheduling management, and their impact on the maintenance mission as well as the results of corrective actions. Prepares visual media for analysis studies to include the monthly Health-of-The-Fleet meeting. Will use statistical techniques, interpret findings from data, identify trends and significant deviations, and recommend corrective actions. Prepares written reports, special studies, and presents recommendations and briefings to senior managers. Observes Autonomic Logistics Information System for work performed by maintenance personnel to include back shop agencies. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Will use all above mentioned products to help drive better aircraft availability for all assigned F-35s.

  • Must have at minimum Interim Secret Security Clearance.

  • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience

  • Aircraft Maintenance Analysis experience in the aviation / aerospace industry

  • Expert-level experience creating and developing programs in Microsoft Office products, to include creating metric charts, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

  • Experienced at developing and presenting high-level briefings and presentations.

Desired Skills:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college

  • F-35 or Fifth Generation aircraft maintenance experience.

  • Experience and knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS)

  • Knowledge of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Supply, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Training Management System (TMS), Quality, or Security programs.

  • Knowledge of USAF AFI 21-101

  • Understanding of USAF Flightline Maintenance Practices

Use Fifth Generation aircraft management tools "Autonomic Logistics Information System" (ALIS) to track aircraft history, maintenance, engine data and Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTDs) and time change items. Performs aircraft and aircrew debriefing. Coordinates with Maintenance Manager on schedules, aircraft status and issues as they occur. Provide On-The Job training to government personnel as it pertains to Aircraft Debriefing and Maintenance Ops Center operations. Maintains accurate aircraft status boards and performs other duties as directed by the Manager. Requires the application of experience and good judgment when dealing with customers. Considered candidates must be capable of working first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) shift(s) dependent on customer needs Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to work in a diverse work culture environment. Ability to work in a flexible schedule environment.
