Your Role:

Tenable is seeking a Sr. Agile Program Manager to bring predictability to complex cross-functional deliverables in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will facilitate rapid, predictable software releases to delight internal and external customers using your knowledge and experience in program management to deliver high quality on-prem and cloud enterprise software.

Your Opportunity:

  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to provide clarity on the timelines and forecasts for cross-functional deliverables and dependencies in your Agile teams.

  • Manage the creation, maintenance, and dissemination of the software roadmap for your teams.

  • Facilitate and navigate cross-functional teams through changes in features and scope. Communicate and manage impact to avoid surprises.

  • Proactively identify risks and lead team to work out the mitigation or contingency plans.

  • Distill complex issues, drive resolution and bring consensus across multiple teams and executives.

  • Identify and take on process improvement opportunities to enhance software delivery efficiency and predictability.

  • Be the overall voice of the program or initiative, communicating effectively to C-level executives, peers and team members.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years of program management experience working with teams building and deploying complex software products (both on-prem dot releases and CI/CD cloud releases)

  • Ability to see the big picture and be an excellent systems thinker

  • Experience with SaaS products

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

  • Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA

  • Good facilitation, analytical, and elicitation skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent self and time management skills

You will lead cross functional teams in planning and execution of these projects ensuring that project objectives are delivered on-time and within budget.
