The Senior Advisor will work with the Strategy Coordination & Implementation (SCI) group to collaborate with stakeholders across Transformation & Distribution (T&D) by enabling system strategies to efficiently achieve strategic goals through coordinating work processes and studies, developing methodologies and training, and sponsoring expansion driven projects to meet the needs of the system, including the development and implementation of new work processes and improvements to existing work processes. The Advisor will manage the Stage Gate Decision Process that is designed to capture, evaluate and facilitate changes to baseline operating plan through informed decision making as it relates to Wildfire Mitigation efforts. This position will provide continuous improvement enhancements and coordination efforts for the implementation of the Wildfire Stage Gate Process. This position will be critical to the success of SCI's mission including its contribution to the support of SCE's Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) and the improvement of other work processes.
This position will report directly to the Engineering Manager of the Strategy Coordination & Implementation (SCI) department - under the Asset Management Strategy and Engineering (AMS&E) division of T&D.

Enhance, coordinate and implement processes that are designed to capture, evaluate and facilitate changes to baseline operating plans through informed decision making as it relates to Wildfire Mitigation efforts and Distribution initiatives
Strategic oversight in developing internal programs and processes
Supports coordination and standardization of methodologies
Act as a program/project lead managing through matrixed employees/ teams/ vendors who are not direct reports but for which the incumbent has direct accountability to lead and achieve program/project objectives
Creates, reports, and presents materials related to asset class strategy development and/or updates within and outside the organization and to senior leadership
Develops strong relationships with critical stakeholders
Guides and supports work streams related to developing and/or improving SCE's Wildfire Mitigation Plan and Aids in development of future vision and ongoing improvements
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Electrical Engineering, Economics or other related discipline
Experience in Distribution Planning, Engineering, Project Management or related discipline
Experience developing and delivering presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience achieving desired outcomes and actions through negotiation and influence
Strong oral and written communication skills and customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to clients' business needs
Experience interfacing effectively and collaborating with internal employees, third party entities, and all levels of management to ensure stakeholder buy-in
Experience integrating work across an organization
General knowledge and/or understanding of electric utility transmission & distribution equipment, business processes, and operations
Proficiency with the following software tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
