Job Description:
Admission Ambassadors represent the institution during the prospective student visit programs, including but not limited to Daily Tours, Open Houses and Accepted Student Days. Ambassadors support all aspects of admission and recruitment efforts of the College. The Senior Ambassador assists with planning daily tours and prepping the staff for events.
Specific Responsibilities:
Assist supervisors with training of Ambassador Staff, including but not limited to organizing mock tours and shadow tours and serving as a mentor to new staff members.
Plan and post monthly tour schedule for the rest of the staff in addition to conducting daily tours of campus for prospective families, visiting groups and department candidates.
Organize schedules for Ambassadors during events such as the Open Houses and Accepted Student Days. Responsible for representing the college in a positive manner as well as conducting larger tours.
Support the Admission Counselor staff with outreach to high school Guidance Counselors.
Assist with day-to-day office projects when necessary, including: data entry, mailings, and Admission Counselor support.
Requirements:
A well-rounded knowledge of the MCLA campus, majors and extracurricular activities.
Ability to communicate effectively with both Admission Staff and visiting families.
Works well both in a team environment and as an individual.
Conducts themselves in a professional manner, especially during fast-paced, evolving events.
2.5 or higher GPA
Conduct and academic standing and history will be considered

This position is open only to students currently enrolled at MCLA.
