Premier, Inc. is seeking a Senior Administrative Coordinator to join its administrative team to support senior level Performance Services executives.

The Senior Administrative Coordinator will provide support to one or more of Premier's Leadership Team, anticipating needs while performing full administrative support, which includes scheduling, travel management, and contact management.Responds to routine inquiries from external or internal sources with standard correspondence or other messaging. The role also prepares correspondence, develops presentations and spreadsheets, and maintains files including those with confidential information. The individual will also schedule and coordinate meetings, and other group activities, submit expense reports, and may serve as the department SharePoint administrator.

In addition to the administrative tasks, the Sr Administrative Coordinator will have proven organization and time management skills with excellent attention to detail. Have good communication skills and perform with a high level of tact, integrity and professionalism while interacting with all levels of management, peers and internal/external customers. Work is performed under minimum supervision of the Manager, Admin Support Services, and must demonstrate the ability to exercise independence and discretion. Requires extensive experience as an administrative assistant.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Full Travel and Calendar Management

  • Expense & Time Reporting; Check authorizations/invoices

  • Scheduling of meetings and coordination of internal/external events.

  • Event planning and management

  • Meeting preparation including room set up/catering/logistics/room re-set

  • Ensures Leadership are prepared for upcoming appointments by gathering materials necessary

  • Prepares reports and presentations, responds to correspondence.

  • Receive and screen telephone calls, messages, mail and visitors; answering questions and furnishing information as appropriate

  • Administrative duties relative to business line

  • Prepare and edit correspondence assuming responsibility for accuracy and completeness of documents

  • Provide onboarding support for new employees

  • Provide assistance with related tools specific to business line

  • Coordinate and work on special projects as requested, including working collaboratively with staff to ensure projects meet deadlines

  • Work as a member of the team, willingly providing back-up support for co-workers when appropriate and actively supporting group goals

Education & Work Experience -

Education:

  • High School/GED Required

  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience strongly preferred

Area of Study:

  • Business or related discipline

Years of Experience:

  • Required
  • 5 or more years of applicable experience.
  • Preferred
  • 7 years or more of applicable experience

Type of Experience needed:

  • Administrative experience in a fast-paced work environment supporting Vice President or similar level

  • Support of Regional Vice President/Group Vice President/Service Line Vice President or similar executive level.

  • Experience leading projects and/or cross functional teams.
