Amyx is seeking to hire several Senior Acquisition Analyst located in Lanham, MD. These positions will be supporting our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client.
Our team of analysts will provide a full range of acquisition support services to the IRS Strategic Supplier Management (SSM) Office and its customers. SSM is responsible for strategically managing IT acquisitions and vendors to maximize the IRS' investment in key commodities and identify significant opportunities to improve IRS IT procurement capability. The Senior Acquisition Analyst will provide daily guidance, mentoring and oversight of the team as they perform their daily tasks. The daily tasks include the following:
Acquisition Planning, Tracking and Reporting
Acquisition Process Analysis and Improvement
Acquisition Package Development
Conducting Market Research and Market Surveys
Developing and Preparing Estimations and Pricing
Developing and Preparing Acquisition Plans
Developing and Preparing Justifications for Other than Full and Open Competition
Developing and Preparing Technical Evaluation Plans and Source Selection
Developing and Preparing Determinations and Findings (D&Fs)
A minimum of 12 years of demonstrated federal acquisition experience
A minimum of 2 years involved in direct team leadership / management
Candidate must be able to pass a criminal history and credit history background check.
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field from an accredited college or university
