The Senior Accreditation Specialist is a high-level strategic partner to the Director of Accreditation and Survey Readiness, playing a pivotal role in leading our system's efforts to achieve the highest standards of compliance and accreditation. This licensed clinician is a strategic thinker with an innovative approach to quality improvement, ensuring our practices not only meet but exceed benchmarks for patient care excellence. As an essential member of the compliance team, this role shapes and fortifies the framework for ongoing accreditation success, leveraging extensive knowledge in regulations, standards, and improvement methodologies.

Description
1.Develops and executes strategic plans to ensure continuous compliance with the standards of accrediting oversight organizations, CMS, and other regulatory bodies.
2.Leads the preparation for accreditation surveys and site visits, including coordinating mock surveys, staff training, and chart and documentation reviews.
3.Serves as a subject matter expert on accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in patient care quality and safety.
4.Conducts ongoing reviews of policies, procedures, and practices to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with current standards.
5.Collaborates with clinical and administrative departments to implement changes and improvements that enhance compliance and quality outcomes.
6.Develops and maintains effective communication and education programs for staff on accreditation processes, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance requirements.
7.Analyzes data and generates reports to monitor compliance levels, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of improvement efforts.
8.Facilitates interdisciplinary teams and working groups focused on accreditation readiness and quality improvement.
9.Acts as a liaison with accrediting agencies and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of required information.
