This position will provide day-to-day accounting and operational support for the accounting services department. Will perform accounts payable functions and coordinate with department on vendor setup for new individuals and businesses including eliminating MPIDs (multiples of 1 vendor). Reconciles, reallocates, and organizes all p-card statements for financial services.

Reviews, approves and processes petty cash, mileage reimbursement, and individual payment requests. Works closely with purchasing department and all staff to train, enforce, and monitor Paw Place rules. Provides customer service and support to faculty, staff, and students on a wide variety of accounting and purchasing issues.

Reviews, verifies and processes daily Food Service Contract invoice payments. Set up and processing of daily check runs for students and businesses. Support accountants with grants and contracts invoicing.

Required Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate Degree
  • 3 years of accounting/finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Higher education experience.

  • Effective interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
