What Youll Do

The Senior Accounting Manager will assist in preparing statements that follow all regulatory and accounting guidelines. This role is responsible for identifying and preventing discrepancies and helping set up control systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Own the financial close across the business and its entities

• Balance sheet reconciliations across the business and its entities

• Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements

• Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for monthly or annual closings

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

• Review the companys accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances

• Oversee the production of periodic financial reports and ensure reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles

• Assist in the the annual budget and forecast process and report significant budget differences to management

• Provide financial analysis on a variety of areas

• Work with external auditors and provide needed information for the annual audit

• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance, business or related field

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant accounting field

• 1+ years of experience leading people/processes to achieve business goals

• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS

• Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)

• Strong understanding of data analysis and forecasting

Bonus Points

• Proficient in accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance & Operations)

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and/or public accounting experience
