Job Description Job Description Senior Accounting Manager in West Palm, Beach, Fla $85-$95K DOE, Great Benefits package-401K Growth opportunity Responsibilities: Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments, to ensure timely and precise financial reporting.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, review journal entries, analyze account balances, and investigate any discrepancies. Prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring they are accurate and comply with GAAP or IFRS. Perform financial, variance, and trend analyses to identify areas for improvement and enhance financial performance.

Assist in creating annual budgets and forecasts, offering financial analysis and insights to support decision-making. Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to protect assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate risks. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency within the finance function, implementing best practices and automation solutions.

Support tax planning and compliance activities, including preparing tax returns, calculating provisions, and coordinating with external tax advisors. Coordinate and facilitate external audits and reviews, providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support. Provide guidance, training, and support to junior accounting staff, ensuring their professional growth and adherence to accounting standards.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (master’s degree or CPA certification preferred). Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with increasing responsibility. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Thorough understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (GAAP or IFRS). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.

Must have integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in supervising or mentoring staff. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
