ROLE SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing the day-to day accounting, audits and contributing to the overall growth and success of CorePower Yoga and its subsidiaries. This position will have two direct reports, the Accounting Manager & Accounting Supervisor. Monthly duties include journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations and financial reporting. Additional job duties include technical accounting research and memos, internal controls and ad hoc financial reporting. The position reports to the Controller. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
The Senior Manager job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Supervise monthly general ledger close
Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for staff
Accounting for Management Incentive Plan
Managing annual audit for multiple entities
Reviewing the monthly financial reporting package and bank reporting packages
Continuous improvement of all accounting functions
Perform account analysis and reconciliation, as well as account reconciliation review
Proactively communicate insights and observations and propose solutions to management based upon month end activities
Develop and maintain financial controls to ensure the integrity of the Financial Statements
Oversight of the Accounting Department during Controller's absence
EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
5-7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance field with a strong understanding of US GAAP
1-2 years of experience in a multi-unit business preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
CPA preferred
Must have strong technical accounting (US GAAP) research and reporting skills
Good knowledge of internal control concepts
Exceptional analytic and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Superior organizational skills and attention to details and accuracy
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, work under deadline pressures and high stress situations with professionalism and focus
Flexibility and desire to work in a fast-paced and evolving/growing organization
High-degree of professionalism and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from studio managers to C-level executives
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables and lookup tables), MS Office and PowerPoint, as well as proficiency in accounting software is required
Netsuite experience preferred

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $120,000 to $125,000 based on experience
Bonus potential up to 15%
