The Senior Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing monthly accounting duties primarily to ensure proper coordination and accounting around month end closing procedures. They will lead or assist in special projects defined by leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads team members in troubleshooting complex accounting and system transactions.

• Performs continuous monitoring of key reports to troubleshoot systemic issues early in the process.

• Monitors daily activity and processing of scheduled processes to ensure accounting transactions are appropriate.

• Assists with preparation of monthly account reconciliations, typically more complex in nature, and sufficiently documents in accordance with SOX requirements.

• Performs duties in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Assists both internal and external auditors with this compliance.

• Recommends process improvement to auditing/accounting procedures.

• Leads or assists in various accounting related special projects as defined by Accounting Leadership.

• Effectively fulfills responsibilities as a process owner within the established control environment. This requires working closely with the Internal Control Department to test and maintain the key controls within the processes which this position is accountable to identify, maintain and update the process narrative timely for any changes. Oversees those involved in the process to ensure the effectiveness of the controls other team members are involved in.
