Senior Accountant/Tax Manager

Job Description Job Description Senior Accountant / Tax Manager Mid-size local CPA firm is seeking a full time accountant to work with a diverse client group in multiple industries. As a Senior Accountant with our firm, you will be responsible for supervising and/or completing client engagements while developing strong working relationships with clients built around understanding their businesses and challenges.

Essential Functions: · Performs diverse accounting, and tax assignments for your assigned group of client, with support from a partner as needed. · Participates in planning and scheduling client engagements. · Performs research into complex accounting and tax issues. · Prepares individual, partnership, corporate and non-profit tax returns. · Communicates effectively with staff and clients. · Keeps abreast of current and emerging trends and technical issues. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Well-rounded knowledge of accounting and tax principles. · Must be detail oriented, friendly, and organized. · Meets time constraints and client deadlines. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Proficiency in the use of technology and accounting software.

Knowledge of Ultra Tax, Accounting CS and QuickBooks preferred. Job Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in accounting · CPA preferred or CPA Candidate a plus. Job Type:
