Build it. Do it here. What you'll be doing... You'll be in a key role, supporting general accounting functions.

Utilizing your drive and motivation, you will expand your experience and develop subject matter expertise in a variety of areas. You will have the opportunity to increase your accounting knowledge to include complex scenarios as part of a dynamic and challenging Finance organization. Assisting with the monthly close process and projects.Performing analytical assignments and preparing accounting reports.Preparing reconciliations of accounts, actively investigating reconciling items to resolve timely.Performing analysis and coordinating with partners to resolve any differences.Analyzing and interpreting reports for managers, providing recommendations to guide business decisions.Fielding issues and responding to inquiries, ensuring resolution.Maintaining records for accounting transactions.Comparing system outputs with daily input verifying for accuracy and resolves discrepancies.Leading the company's efforts to comply with the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley while ensuring compliance and adherence with controls for internal policies and external regulations.Leading or participating in training and skills development initiatives as a subject matter expert.Participating in the identification and implementation of improvements to accounting processes.

What we're looking for... You are growing and developing your accounting and analytical skill sets, as well as starting to expand into a leadership mentality. You have a solid grasp of the accounting concepts and practices you have been exposed to, and a working knowledge of other areas of accounting. You have a desire to develop your skills and grow your career, while helping to enhance a positive work environment.

You'll need to have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field or four or more years of work experience.Three or more years of relevant work experience.Experience in the preparation of general ledger postings and account reconciliations.Knowledge of FASB requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and accounting standard methodologies.Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.Knowledge of accounting systems and applications such as SAP, PeopleSoft, CPM/Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, Blackline or related systems and applications. Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.CPA certification (or are in the process of getting certified).Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.Demonstrated attention to detail and strong written and verbal communications skills. Conduct qualification visits (QV), site initiation visits (SIV), monitoring visits (MV) and termination visits (TV) at assigned clinical sites and generate visit/contact reports. * Build relationships. Oversee integrity of the study and utilize problem-solving skills to promote rapport with the site and staff. * Protect patients. Review the performance of the trial at designated sites, ensure the rights and well-being of human subjects are safeguarded and are in accordance with protocol. * Drive productivity. Develop patient recruitment strategies in conjunction with the clinical site to meet enrollment timelines, while also ensuring compliance with the approved standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocol/amendment(s), GCP, and the applicable regulatory requirement(s). * Ensure quality. Evaluate the quality and integrity of the reported data, site efficacy and drug accountability. * Execute. Monitor the completeness and quality of Regulatory Documentation and perform site document verification. Qualifications More about you On your first day we'll expect you to have: * Site Management or equivalent experience in clinical research, with understanding of clinical trials methodology and terminology. * Ability to perform all clinical monitoring activities independently. * Bachelor's or equivalent degree in biological science, pharmacy or other health related discipline. * Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills within a matrixed team. * Experience working in a self-driven capacity, with a sense of urgency and limited oversight. * A client-focused approach to work and flexible attitude with respect to assignments/new learning. * The ability to manage multiple tasks, evaluate a variety of unpredictable scenarios and achieve project timelines while being able to apply your understanding of study protocol(s). * An honest and ethical work approach to promote the development of life changing treatments for patients. * Strong computer skills, including but not limited to the knowledge of a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and MS-Office products such as Excel and Word.
