Job Description:

The position will support the Associate Controller and General Accounting Manager with ensuring cash and net position are managed and reported appropriately requiring a high level of accounting experience, accuracy, and knowledge. The position will perform complex and varied financial operations in accordance with established policies and practices including preparation, examination, analysis, maintenance, reconciliation, and verification of financial records. The position will independently research, analyze, and implement accounting pronouncements and other best practices that impact financial processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Comprehensive knowledge in using automated financial systems and MS Excel, particularly in report writing and analysis. Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices.

Considerable knowledge of identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external senior officials as well as internal and external customers with effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of accounting principles and methods to a variety of complex fiscal needs.

Demonstrated ability to assemble, analyze, reconcile, and research complex financial data and develop a variety of fiscal reports. Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and interpret administrative policies and procedures.
