Robert Half is currently working with a prominent employer in Bonita Springs that is looking to at an Accountant to their team. To flourish in this role, candidates will need to be highly capable of handling a challenging work environment with many components. Preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, revenue reports, bank reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation will be essential for this Accountant role. Produce journal entries and perform the month end close under minimal supervision.
Prepare and review various deferred revenue and revenue analysis to ensure revenue is accurate and complete.
Assist with the preparation of internal financial reports and process/close period ending GAAP revenue.
Prepare deferred revenue roll forward reporting and reconcile unapplied sub ledgers to the general ledger.
Provide various revenue and deferred revenue schedules for tax and external audit support.
Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner.
Prepare monthly financial close workbooks to support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process.
Produce analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management.
Special projects and impromptu reporting, upon request.
Play a part in a variety of department-wide initiatives.
Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation.

? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting ? Minimum 3 years? of Accounting experience. ? Strong systems skills including Excel and various ERP accounting systems.. ? Strong leadership skills. Self starter, enthusiastic and strategic thinker with a bias for action. ? Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building both internal and external relationships. ? Demonstrated initiative; ability to think, work, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment. ?
