We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting various business functions, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and strong communication skills.

Schedule: M-F/ 7am-4pm

Requirements

•* Prepares job cost journal entries and other ad hoc general ledger entries.

•* Reconciles general ledger accounts with various sub-ledgers.

•* Prepares fixed asset and lease accounting monthly journal entries. Ensures documentation for new and / or dispositions of fixed assets and leases is maintained.

•* Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions as needed.

•* Performs standard and ad hoc analyses as needed to assist operations with problem solving and decision-making processes

•* Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.

•* Assists with the annual financial audit process

•* Implements and/or improves policies and procedures

•* Utilizes advanced Excel skills, including vlookups and pivot tables, to analyze financial data and support decision-making processes.

•* Maintain a high level of professionalism and clear communication while interacting with internal stakeholders and external partners.

•* Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

•* CPA designation preferred, not required.

•* Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting, financial statement preparation, and cost accounting.

•* Background in public accounting or auditing is preferred.

•* Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.

•* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

•* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

•* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
