The position is located at our Corporate office in Lakeville, MA

Position Summary:

Under minimal guidance, the Sr. Accountant understands Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and performs a variety of accounting functions. The functions include performing complex account reconciliations, ensuring accurate recognition and reporting of accounts, ensuring compliance with GAAP, actively participates in external auditor reviews and audits, and provides recommendations for accounting process improvements. The Sr. Accountant may participate in the preparation or review of financial statements.

A Day in the Life of a Senior Accountant:

  • Performs month-end general ledger reconciliations to ensure accurate monthly recognition and reporting of complex accruals and associated expenses. Participates in annual audits and quarterly reviews by providing reporting for areas, including identifying and resolving outstanding issues and drafting segments of reports prepares and/or review month and quarter-end financial statements for assigned areas to ensure accurate reporting and accounting of expenses, income, etc.

  • Ensures compliance with GAAP by reviewing the work of support staff in area and applying GAAP to own work products.

  • Participates in annual audits and quarterly reviews by providing reporting for areas, including identifying and resolving outstanding issues and drafting segments of reports.

  • Reviews reconciliations for selected groups for accuracy and consistency, identifies inaccuracies and directs correction of problem areas.

  • Provides recommendations for process improvements to the reporting process.

  • Maintains integrity of data in accounts and/or functional areas of responsibility

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, or business related discipline.

  • CPA preferred

  • Previous work experience with Big 4 is preferred

  • 5-7 years' minimum working in a corporate accounting group in a medium to large corporation.

  • Working knowledge of GAAP principles.

  • Experience doing financial reporting and financial statement production for a corporate entity.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Highly proficient with general ledger systems and report writer, database and spreadsheet software.

  • High level of verbal and written communication, as well as teamwork and collaboration skills.

The Project Management team at Ocean Spray is expanding and is looking to add to their team. The position is located at our Corporate office in Lakeville, MA. A Day in the Life of a Project Manager: * Lead new product development cross functional teams throughout all aspects of the project (Ideation through execution) including * Responsible for all project communication on the project teams and with senior management * Identify and manage scope of project * Creation and management of overall project timeline * Influence and drive task ownership and completion * Ensures and drives accountability of cross functional team members Identify, communicate and mitigate project risks * Manage stakeholder communications and expectations * Executes project within given timelines to meet desired business objectives (consumer, financial, operational, etc.) * Manage and strive to reduce ambiguity when appropriate * Communicate and influence effectively at the senior leadership level * Facilitate various processes (Stage-Gate, Technical Change, etc.) * Maintain knowledge of new and emerging project management methodologies and identify opportunities for development What We Are Looking For: * Bachelor's Degree required. * 5+ years of relevant experience * PMP Certification required * Working knowledge of MS Project and Excel. SAP experience preferred. * Strong analytical, initiative, data management, accountability & follow through are required. * Leadership, collaboration/peer relationship, influence, planning, business acumen, and problem-solving skills. * Project management experience with necessary systems skills and team building skills. * Individual must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely manner. * Must have willingness to stretch outside of comfort zones and seek constant improvement of techniques.
