We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to work directly with the Controller .

Work with the Controller to manage the monthly close process, including monthly transactional entries over A/R activity, inventory activity, standard entries, depreciation, prepaids, and accruals

Perform P&L review monthly.

Prepare and complete accurate monthly financial statements in a timely manner.

Prepare monthly reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts including bank/cash reconciliations as well as reconciling subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.

Maintain fixed assets and all fixed asset related items (property valuations, vehicle registrations, etc.)

Proven ability to analyze, recognize and correct issues that arise.

Periodically assist with Accounts Payable functions including vouchering invoices, entering invoices, preparing check runs, and researching unpaid invoices

Work with auditors to provide support for audit and tax return requests.

Manage the annual 1099 preparation and its respective vendors.

Assist with various financial planning and analysis projects including budgeting.

Assist with new ERP implementation.

Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporate best practices.

Assist in possible streamlining of policies.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting

4 to 7 years of accounting experience

CPA preferred, not required.

Must be highly detailed oriented and organized.

Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.
