Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our fast-growing organization. In this position, you will handle all accounting operations within the company, verify financial records and transactions, and monitor the accounting team. You must have a keen attention to detail and maintain account balances, financial statements, general ledger, and all reports.

Examples of Essential Functions:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Analyzing complex financial reports and records

  • Making recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures

  • Prepare journal entries

  • Capital/Operating Leases, Fixed Assets Management

  • Performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations

  • Assisting with financial and tax audits

  • Documenting and monitoring internal controls

  • Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments

  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the Accounting Manager's attention

  • Review all intercompany transactions and generate invoices as necessary

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts

  • Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team

  • Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits

  • Conduct regular ledger maintenance

  • Work with Finance Operations Team on reviewing processes and making recommendations

Qualifications Guidelines


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required

  • 5+ years' experience in general accounting

  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley, US GAAP

  • Knowledge in stock-based compensation accounting is preferred but not required

  • Experience in M&A is also preferred but not required

  • Experience with computerized ledger systems

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment

  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite a plus

  • This position requires frequently sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and operating a computer workstation

  • Must have finger dexterity, ability to use keyboard/ten key

  • Able to participate in the environments standing, moving onsite at events and tradeshows

  • This position requires frequently sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and handling/grasping of materials.

  • Constantly sitting, standing, walking, and operating a computer workstation

  • This position may rarely require kneeling, bending, squatting

  • Must have finger dexterity, ability to use keyboard/ten key

  • Reach, stoop and lift office files, records or reports, typically weighing 20 pounds or less

  • Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds
