Seeking a Senior Accountant (with a focus in Fixed Assets)

In this role, you will play a crucial part in seeing projects from start to finish for capital and large expense projects, ensuring compliance with company policies. Your responsibilities will include administering policies / procedures / systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to accurately record fixed asset transactions, and maintaining precise fixed asset records. SAP Fixed Assets experience is a plus as you will be the key user of the system.

With a focus on fixed assets, you'll also track and maintain accurate records, (asset master data, depreciation schedules, etc.), provide / analyze various reports (project reports, capital and depreciation budgets and forecasts, spending timelines, etc.), audit data to ensure accuracy, and research and address any discrepancies or concerns related to fixed assets or other projects.

Additionally, you'll be confident and have the ability to train individuals on project proposal planning, approval processes and documentation, project structures in SAP, and develops and updates training material as needed.

Position Requirements:

Requires a minimum of BA /BS degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or post-graduate course work preferred, and a minimum of 4 to 7 years accounting experience with a preferred focus in Fixed Asset accounting.

You must have in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to fixed assets (IFRS and/or GAAP). Understanding of Financial Analysis, including ROI, PV, IRR. Proficiency with ERP systems, (e.g. SAP or similar), and advanced proficiency with Excel.
