Position Overview: Senior Accountant - This position is responsible for various accounting functions which are key to the monthly close and reporting process. The role will be responsible for numerous recurring journal entries and reconciliations of general ledger accounts and accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists in the month end close process and preparation of financial reports.
• Prepares and/or reviews routine reconciliation of numerous balance sheet accounts to include cash.
• Reconciliation of GL system to YMS system.
• Recording of recurring monthly journal entries.
• Assists periodic and annual audits with the external auditors and lenders.
• Perform special assignments as required by the Corporate Controller or CFO.

Requirements:

Experience:

• 3 - 5 years of accounting experience with experience leading a team.

Skills:

• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
• Very high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to direct and supervise.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or another related field.
