The Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, analysis, compliance and month-end accounting processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced work environment, demonstrates strong analytical skills and an ability to make smart business decisions using a good sense of judgement. In this role, you will work closely with the CFO, Controller and the Accounting Manager.
Assist in enhancing and streamlining the financial reporting function including flash (operational) reporting, month-end, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analytics (FP&A)
Work with Accounting Manager and Controller to complete the month-end close processes
Address tax (including international) and compliance matters
Assist in the completion of monthly commission and related reporting to vendors/brokers
Work with international teams to establish and maintain solid controls, reporting and processes
Serve as key contributor for external audits
Responsible for journal entries, reconciliations and providing daily support
Perform process improvement projects and enable company to efficiently scale
Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested
Critical Skills for Success:
Proven track record completing components of month end close in a company with formalized close process and strong business controls
Demonstrated ability to complete account reconciliations and other accounting processes with success implementing improvements
Technical and analytical skills to complete complicated analysis (Commissions & FP&A)
High level of accountability
Job Qualifications Required:
Bachelors degree in Accounting of Finance
CPA Certification required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a corporate accounting function
Accounting systems experience, Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred
Accounting and Finance experience in a services, healthcare or call center environment preferred
