The Role: Centri is looking to hire multiple Senior Accountants to the team! If you're truly looking to move into an advisory role (we do not do audit & we do not do tax!), are motivated by challenge and want to work with a forward-thinking, expanding firm, we have opportunities for you!

Centri's Senior Accountants are involved in:

  • Preparation and review of periodic filings for SEC registrants, including 10-Q and 10-K filings, S-1, Proxy and IPO pre-audit support.
  • Preparation of technical accounting memos - business combinations, revenue recognition, equity method accounting and principal market analysis.
  • Research authoritative accounting guidance to prepare and review client disclosures.
  • Set-up and implementation of company wide internal control documentation and procedures to ensure Sarbanes Oxley Compliance.
  • Proficient in preparation and review of XBRL tagging using financial reporting software.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor interns and associate level staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance or Business Related Field) required.
  • CPA required
  • 4+ years of Accounting experience; at least 1 year in public accounting required
  • Interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships.
  • Above average written communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations.
  • Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress.
  • Motivated, collaborative individual who is eager to learn and grow.

Description: As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for coordinating the general accounting function for a select region. You will perform a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical/accounting functions with significant responsibility for the month end close process, contract compliance, managing and overseeing the development of a staff accountant. Some other specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Analyzing the regional balance sheets and ensuring proper backup and supporting schedules * Assisting with the month end close process including the completion of the month end variance explanations * Assisting with training of other staff accountants * Responsible for career development of 1 staff accountant * Ensuring proper accounting for newly opened profit centers * Responsible for review of calculation billing for all new profit centers * Ensuring proper contract compliance including attending legal review of new and existing contracts. * SOX compliance testing * Ensure accounting is in compliance with ARAMARK policies and procedures * Perform ad hoc projects as requested Qualifications: * Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance * Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task * Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization in both written and oral interactions. * 3-5 years progressive accounting experience preferred * Proficient in Microsoft Applications – Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint Aramark is an EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY/AFFIRMATIVE ACTION employer – Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran Aramark Corporation Philadelphia PA
