Senior Accountant

A dynamic and established company located in Hyattsville, Maryland, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team.

In this role, you will:

• Assist in overseeing the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage month-end close processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support informed business decisions.
• Work collaboratively with other departments, including sales, operations, and management.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with accounting

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• Proven expertise in GAAP accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite).

Compensation: 75k-95k + benefits package.
