We are looking for a Senior Accountant and Financial Analyst to support CMTs accounting and FP&A functions. In this role, you will assist both CMTs accounting and finance teams with budgeting, billing, audit preparation, among other responsibilities. You will also meet regularly with key stakeholders across the organization to manage spending. To be successful in this role, you should have 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably with a privately held technology company. Prior audit experience is also a plus but not required.

We are looking for an individual to manage all financial transactions, including billing and management of accounts receivable, new system implementation and optimization, sales tax management, and regular month-end close processes. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we are compliant with all tax regulations.


  • Assist with month-end close responsibilities (billing customers, revenue recognition, bank reconciliations, expenses, and account reconciliations).
  • Assist with the recently created FP&A function, including budgeting and reforecasting for 2020 and 2021.
  • Prepare documentation and support for annual financial statement audit
  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies from budget
  • Meet with department heads monthly to review budget/actual and discuss upcoming expenditures
  • Support payroll processing and administration
  • Register the company to perform business in new states as required
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • Publish financial statements timely
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Report on the companys financial health and liquidity
  • Assist with maintaining forecast model in oracle / Netsuite PBCS (formerly known as Hyperion)
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations


  • Great communication skills and is proactive about communication potential issues along with proposed solutions
  • Mastery of Excel and proficient in Powerpoint
  • Prior experience in private technology companies is a plus
  • Work experience as an Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
  • Previous experience with cloud-based budgeting systems a plus
