The Downtown Los Angeles office is currently looking for a strong Senior Accountant to join our internal Salaried Professional Service! The Senior Accountant will be helping companies of all sizes and industries across the greater Los Angeles area. This role is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant to broaden your accounting skill set, while also expanding your personal network! This exciting opportunity at Robert Half will offer the opportunity to work with Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies! Roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintaining fixed assets

  • Overseeing a small team of Staff Accountants

  • Creating standard operating procedures

  • Performing month-end close operations

  • Possible involvement in accounting system implementations

  • Oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Ensuring monthly accruals are booked

  • Assisting in the production of financial statements

  • Maintaining monthly accounting schedules

  • Processing expense reports

  • Reconciling bank and credit card statements

  • Producing ad hoc reporting to upper management

Requirements of the position: - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 5+ year working experience in accounting

  • Active CPA is a plus

  • Working experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or related software

  • Ability to commute up to 20 miles

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
