We have a great opportunity in the Wayne area. Though our Salaried Professionals Program, Accountemps is looking for a Senior Accountant for a temporary opportunity with a mid-size company.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. We are looking for someone who has excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging environment to support the companies continued success. Role Responsibilities ? Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables primarily in the compensation area (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) ? Prepare monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting ? Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests. ? Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) ? Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors ? Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations Qualifications ? BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred ? 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience ? Oracle 11i or higher, or other ERP system experience ? Strong Excel skills required ? Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail a plus ? VIEW JOBS 10/20/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-18T00:00 Job Title: Senior Accountant JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting, works within the Airgas Corporate Financial Reporting Group and closely with Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Tax, Treasury, and other corporate departments. This position plays an integral role in the preparation of internal financial reports, as well as monthly and quarterly reporting to the head office in Paris, France. The role is part of a high-performing and high visibility team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Preparation of the monthly/quarterly internal reporting package, including, balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and intercompany reporting information. * Preparation of monthly ad-hoc reporting packages to the head office including target/estimates, various key performance indicators, disclosure items, commentary and others. * Preparation of journal entries and financial analyses related to insurance reserves and a wide array of other accounting areas. * Assist with internal controls compliance, including the documentation, review and execution of corporate financial reporting and accounting internal controls. * Support and assist external auditors' quarterly review and annual audit processes. * Assist with functions related to the company's acquisition accounting. * Prepare monthly and quarterly analytics over the consolidated financial statements. * Assist with special projects and other duties as needed.
