The Role

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for leading key client relationships and provide project management support from the project kick-off to completion. Not only will a Senior Account Manager be tasked with achieving and maintaining client satisfaction by ensuring projects are delivered on scope, on time, and on budget but has developed a deep understanding of the client's organization and business needs and is seen as a trusted advisor. As a Senior Account Manager, you have proven experience in growing books of business and you are able to identify opportunities to continuously grow the client's relationship with Kaleidoscope.


  • 5+ years in an account services/management role specifically in a Branding Agency, Design Consultancy or at an Advertising Agency

  • 3+ years specifically within brand packaging and/or identity design experience with a major CPG brand

  • Experience in formal mentorship and/or desire to manage/mentor junior members of a team

  • Proven success managing, servicing, and growing a book of business

  • Excels in both an independent and team environment


  • BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Communication or equivalent

GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for assisting Producers and Account Executives while executing sales strategy, initiating contact with existing and potential customers, Collaborates with the team to consistently deliver high-quality customer service and ensures service standards including execution, delivery and retention are achieved. Provide efficient, professional, and courteous service to clients, by phone, in writing and in person. The role is responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: . Manage, underwrite and market all current accounts for clients. . Handle all customer relations and support services for these accounts. Work with producers/marketing in order to enhance client development, service, quality and sales of these clients. . Handle mail and company inquiries on all clients as needed. Issue binders, certificates, etc. for any client requests. . Performs quarterly service status calls to assigned book of business clients. Participates in implementation activities for new and renewal clients and may attend implementation meetings with the Account Executive and Producer . Communicate with other department members and other departments in order to provide continuity, uniform procedures and agency-wide communication and morale. . Status reports as required, such as new business and lost business report. . Assist in gathering data for quotes and prepares quote request submissions . Assists clients with the reporting of claims, maintain contact during the settlement process of the claim and updating applicable production staff as to the status of the claims . Ensures that all assigned transactions are executed in a timely and accurate manner, and that all documentation is maintained to standards . Builds and maintains key client and carrier relationships by phone, email and in person SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: . High School diploma or equivalent. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred. . Required appropriate state resident insurance licenses . Three (3) years of insurance or related financial services experience preferred . Understanding of the financial industry, compliance regulations, daily operational duties and insurance products preferred. . Must be able to work independently with limited supervision . Must be able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks at once and have excellent organizational skills . Intermediate computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point .
