AIA, an Alera Group company is seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Service & Support: Respond to client inquiries, process mid-term certificates, endorsements, auto ID cards, and issue insurance binders within 24 hours. Assist prospects/insureds until a producer is available and provide clear explanations of audits or policy changes.
- Policy Management: Prepare and process applications for new and renewal business, manage endorsement changes, cancellations, and premium adjustments within 72 hours, and support the creation of formal insurance proposals.
- Renewal & Expiration Tracking: Review monthly expiration lists 120 days prior to policy end dates and collaborate with producers to ensure timely renewals and proactive client engagement.
- Claims & Issue Resolution: Handle claims processing in the absence of the claims department and keep producers informed of significant account activities or potential issues.
- Automation & Documentation: Maintain accurate client records in the agency's system, manage suspense items within 72 hours, and ensure all documents are properly imaged and up to date.
- Accounts Receivable Compliance: Follow agency billing and collections policies, monitor unpaid audits, and coordinate with producers to ensure timely payment resolutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay current on insurance rates, forms, and coverage changes through circulars, bulletins, and professional development opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of experience in property and casualty insurance.
- Resident Producer License in Property and Casualty.
