The Senior Account Management Professional is responsible for growing membership within existing accounts and for directly managing business relationships with client accounts. The Senior Account Management Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Account Management Professional oversees customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements. Develops and oversees customer retention campaigns. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Performs other relevant duties deemed necessary to achieve department and company-wide goals.
Active resident health and life insurance license in the state of TN (or willingness and ability to obtain within 30 days)
5+ years of sales and/or account management experience in the health and wellness solutions industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Knowledge of agent and/or broker environment
Willingness and ability to travel at a rate of approximately 75% throughout the assigned territory, including overnight as necessary
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
Experience selling to or managing large-group employer accounts
Knowledgeable in CRM programs
Bilingual in English and Spanish -- ability to read, write and speak both languages without limitation or assistance
