About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to support our health team. You'll collaborate within the team, provide sound counsel and recommendations to clients, and drive results inclusive of traditional and emerging public relations tactics. Specific duties include:
Build strong relationships with client and vendor contacts & proactively manage correspondence
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete them on time and on budget
Develop and manage media relations programs including maintaining quality programs with trade, business, and vertical press and sustain key editorial contacts
Plan and implement press conferences, seminars, speakers' bureau, and other special events
Research, interview, write, and edit news releases other media materials, fact sheets, message maps and other materials as needed.
Develop key messages in keeping with clients' objectives and craft and develop newsworthy pieces based off the key messaging
Practice effective project management while working with other team members and understand the "big picture" of the client program
Coach junior employees and demonstrate ability to supervise & delegate tasks as necessary
Assist with new business
You will succeed at Zeno if you are fearless, resourceful, tenacious, have an understanding of traditional and non-traditional PR tactics and the media landscape, and drive great results for clients while building great relationships with your clients and your team.
Bachelor's degree in public relations or related communications field
At least 3 years of experience in PR; agency experience with healthcare clients preferred
Understanding of healthcare communications and regulatory process
Excellent writing skills, demonstrated experience crafting newsworthy pitches, releases, contributed articles
Proven success in building relationships with members of the media, and driving results for clients
Strong presentation skills, with experience working directly with clients and actively participating in client meetings
Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines
Demonstrates the ability to think strategically, creatively and holistically about client programs, fearless in presenting a point of view in brainstorms
Pharmaceutical client experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects
Proficient in MSOffice,specifically PowerPoint
