Shopkick is a shopping app (30M+ downloads) that connects brands and retailers to consumers along the entire path to purchase. We provide measurable solutions for our customers as we get our audience to engage with content, learn about and pick up products helping drive incremental store traffic and sales using "kicks" instead of cash back, coupons, or discounts.

Shopkick is looking for a talented, performance-oriented Senior Account Director based in NYC. This position will require someone who works well servicing and negotiating with day-to-day customers as well as upper level C-suite executives at Fortune 500 companies. In addition, someone who has had success identifying, hunting and the ability to close and renew business. An individual who enjoys bringing solutions to their client's challenges, someone who is part of the business community and someone they call upon as a resource.

We are looking for knowledge of shopper marketing, brand and/or retail marketing (including video), consumer promotions, and brand activations. Past successes of building out territories, exceeding revenue targets and the ability to scale in a dynamic industry is a must!

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Meet and exceed revenue targets and client's KPIs

  • Identify, develop and grow accounts and client relationships from Maine to Florida.

  • Accurately forecast, track and report revenue

  • Articulate Shopkick's ability to connect with consumers throughout the path to purchase.

  • Build and close a pipeline of campaigns and partnerships with Fortune 500 marketers across CPG, Retail, Entertainment, QSR, Gaming, Auto and Technology verticals

  • Develop strong creative proposals for shopper, brand, and retail customers


  • 5+ years work experience in media, shopper, or retail sales (agency, publisher, or client side)

  • Successful track record of closing deals with Fortune 500 companies across CPG, Retail, QSR, Entertainment, Consumer Electronics, and/or Gaming companies

  • Excellent client management and communication/interpersonal skills

  • Excellent references (recent and relevant) from former clients and employers

  • Outstanding presentation skills, written and oral

  • Knowledge of new media/marketing channels, monetization models and business landscape

  • Must be self-starter, organized and detail oriented

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to work well cross-functionally and collaborate with other regions

  • Experience and expertise in mobile or interactive technologies is a plus

The Senior National Account Manager serves as the primary Samsung contact for the Television business at Walmart and This individual is responsible for leading cross functional teams including operations, marketing, finance, and merchandising support to achieve our annual goals. The candidate selected for this role will be responsible for helping to grow our customer engagement, achieving annual and quarterly sales targets, market share goals of Samsung televisions at Walmart. He/she is involved in the planning and execution of category roadmaps to achieve pricing, promotion, shelving, and assortment objectives. The Senior National Account Manager reports to the Sales Director. Role and Responsibilities Primary responsibilities as follows: * Drive revenue growth and profitability for the Television category for Walmart. * Work with the customer and product marketing groups to implement strategic growth plans that drive results in store and online. * Identify and develop new business opportunities which results in the achievement of increased revenue and profitability. * Leverage market and internal analytics to develop a go-to-market strategy in support of Samsung objectives, including account and product line specific programs. * Own the Omni-channel business by identifying and driving new strategies to accelerate growth. * Identify root cause to problems and use data driven approaches to solve them. * Combine POS data with marketing and insight data to create compelling and comprehensive selling stories. * Is responsible for new item sell-in and throughout product life cycle (item setup, in-store placement, sell-thru, forecasting, in-stock, pricing) * Continuously strive for excellence and set example for the rest of the team/organization. NECESSARY ATTRIBUTES: * Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company. * Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects. * Demonstrate competency in both oral and written communication modes for internal and external personnel at all levels, especially in the sales, marketing and supply chain. * Demonstrate a superior level of project management skills, including the ability to prepare written plans and schedules, identify objectives, create program proposals, coordinate and direct project teams. * Work independently and in team environments in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames.
