RetailMeNot is looking for a Senior Account Director who will work directly with merchants and networks to drive sales in-store and online. You will be based out of our Hoboken, NJ office.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience required in online and/or mobile media sales/business development, with strong preference for experience in deals/promotions space

  • Affiliate and store marketing knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of and experience in online advertising/e-commerce/offline commerce

  • Proven experience growing customer base and revenue through customer acquisition, developing and selling in digital marketing/advertising solutions retailers and brands and delivering significant revenue growth

  • Salesforce expertise, Tableau experience a plus

  • Exceptional ability to develop and deliver pitch-ready presentations

  • Self-motivated and enjoys working in a dynamic and results-driven environment

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to use market knowledge and partner feedback to improve product and service offerings

  • Polished, engaging and persuasive communicator

  • Strong problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills

  • Structured problem solver with excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

  • Up to 20% travel required

What You'll Do

  • You'll build deep long-term relationships with RetailMeNot's retail and brand partners from an existing list of clients

  • You'll prospect for new business relationships

  • You'll summarize and present benefits of strategic partnerships to prospective merchants

  • You'll drive ongoing business opportunities and incremental revenue from existing clients

  • You'll manage complete sales cycle process from identifying to closing new retailer/brand partnerships

  • You'll represent the RetailMeNot brand and products to C and S-level executives

  • You'll master product and service offerings to best serve online and offline marketing programs

  • You'll achieve quarterly revenue and new account activation targets

VIEW JOBS 4/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-15T00:00 Job Description Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement Reflecting an intentional commitment and an integrated approach to the perpetuation of lifelong relationships between Stevens Institute of Technology and its alumni, the Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement reports to both the Director of Annual Giving and the Director of Alumni Engagement. The Assistant Director will be an integral member of a team responsible for increasing alumni participation in Stevens' annual giving program and expanding overall alumni engagement in collaboration with internal university partners and alumni volunteer leaders. The Assistant Director will accomplish these critical objectives in coordination with their colleagues in the Division of Development and Alumni Engagement and through the development of deliberate and mutually beneficial partnerships with key alumni volunteers and Stevens Alumni Association (SAA) leaders. The Assistant Director is responsible for planning and implementing strategies fostering enduring and purposeful connections, including the generation of sustainable philanthropic support for the university, and contributing to an ever-growing and increasingly inclusive community bringing Stevens alumni, senior leaders, faculty, staff, and students together. Specific Responsibilities: Work under the direction of the Director of Annual Giving and the Director of Alumni Engagement to implement strategic programs maximizing annual giving outcomes. Outcomes will include those associated with increasing the giving participation percentages from undergraduate degreed alumni specifically and dollars committed by both undergraduate and graduate degreed alumni to Stevens. Organize and implement fundraising programs focused on increasing undergraduate alumni giving participation and dollars contributed by alumni in assigned reunion and non-reunion classes, fraternities and sororities, and other alumni affinity groups. Alumni associated with undergraduate classes and from within affinity groups celebrating anniversaries will represent particularly high priorities. Align plans and strategies with the fulfillment of established annual giving fundraising targets through the effective implementation and integration of all available solicitation channels including direct mail, e-mail, web-based, phone, and personal appeals. Contribute to and maintain regular reports detailing quantifiable results explicitly correlated with formalized program objectives; evaluate and communicate progress against these objectives on a sustained and consistent basis. Offer informed feedback and recommendations to the Director of Annual Giving and the Director of Alumni Engagement on how to address any actual or projected shortfalls in program outcomes, maximize the return on investment, and continue to strengthen results on an annual and multi-year basis. Support the goals and objectives of the Stevens Alumni Association, its programs, and the extension, expansion, and diversification of engagement opportunities for all Stevens alumni. Serve as a strategic partner and liaison to SAA committee/s as assigned; develop and sustain productive and supportive working relationships and rapport with committee chair/s and committee members. Engage alumni volunteers in the development and execution of a robust peer-to-peer constituent network focused on the advancement and enrichment of connections among alumni and between alumni and the university. Recruit and orient alumni volunteers and maintain regular and consistent communications forecasting upcoming initiatives and supporting their specific roles in the successful achievement of key goals; report on progress and outcomes correlated with specific objectives. Actively participate in the planning, promotion, and implementation of alumni activities including signature events such as Alumni Weekend. Develop and support programming and communications opportunities to increase and enrich engagement from assigned alumni groups as measured by criteria incorporated within the Stevens alumni engagement affinity model. Fulfill select content management responsibilities on the Division of Development and Alumni Engagement and SAA websites; contribute digital content and help develop e-mail invitations and other e-communications. Assist in the management of assigned social networking sites in alignment with overall annual giving and alumni engagement program objectives and with those related to specific classes, Greek organizations, affinity groups, and SAA committees. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to market and promote digital content. Collaborate with Division of Development and Alumni Engagement colleagues as well as with key campus partners in the achievement of mutually beneficial goals and objectives and the advancement of the division's position within the overall Stevens community. Key campus partners include individuals associated with the university's four academic units as well as admissions, student affairs, athletics, and career center programs and initiatives among others. Work evenings and weekends and travel as required. Perform other related duties as assigned and/or requested. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of three years' progressively responsible experience in development and/or alumni engagement or constituent relations in a higher education or comparably complex environment. Experience with program management, solicitations, communications, peer-to-peer fundraising and engagement, and/or client and volunteer management preferred. Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and programs effectively as well as to sustain rigor in the anticipation and implementation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly assignments and responsibilities. Demonstrated capacity to motivate others and ability to work effectively with staff colleagues, campus partners, and volunteer leaders. Commitment to the values of collaboration and shared success. Proficiency with fundraising and relationship management data platforms and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
