Office of the Provost - Graduation Planning Services
Responsibilities
Responsible for the coordination of programming, administrative and operational activities for the advising of high credit hour students and students with special circumstances. Compiles and analyzes data from multiple sources to identify persistence and attrition trends which may impact timely degree completion to recommend process, policy, or programming changes.
Assists in establishing and implementing programs, policies and procedures that affect timely graduation and encourage students to maximize available options for degree completion.
Manages and designs interventions for students while providing intensive advising and degree planning assistance to facilitate timely degree completion in consultation with colleges and departments to develop appropriate graduation plans. Monitors academic progress of assigned students and conducts targeted outreach campaigns.
Assists in developing and maintaining partnerships throughout the University to attain departmental goals and objectives. Serves as liaison between Graduation Support advising and the FSU community. Provides support with special projects, research, and other assignments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.
