Work as part of a test engineering team that
develops and maintains test solutions for leading-edge high-performance
microelectronics, hybrids, modules, ASIC, and other components. Develop,
implement or improve hardware and software test solutions for products using a
variety of technologies.
Designand maintain digital, RF and mixed signal automated test applications for characterization, qualification, and productiontesting
Designhardware using schematic capture and layout software
Designand sustain sub-systems, specifically interactions between electricalhardware, mechanical fixturing, networked equipment, and computer systems
Integratepackage handlers, mechanical fixtures and wafer probers with automatedtest application software
Validatetest applications against customer specified requirements
Participatein peer reviews and ensure compliance with quality system requirements formilitary and aerospace industry customers
Support yield improvement, cost and test time reduction initiatives
Qualified candidates will be inventive,
analytical thinkers who are able to solve open-ended problems. They will excel
in written and verbal communication, work well in a team environment and take
on technical leadership roles.
Bachelorsdegree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, ElectricalEngineering Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
2years or more experience with electronics hardware design, manufacturingor test or 2 years or more experience writing software (relevant coursework may be considered)
Occasionaltravel to support test development and production systems.
Experience in hardware test design
Experience with rack and stack testequipment or the following test systems: LTX Fusion HF/HFI, CredenceDiamond, FETTEST AMX and Advantest V93000
Experience with wafer probers:ACCRETECH/TSK, TEL and Cascade Microtech
SW programming with languages such asDelphi PASCAL, C , C, MATLAB, and Python
Experience with Package Handlers such asExatron, Symtek and ASECO
Experience with test equipment such as:VNA, Oscilloscopes, source measure units, precision digital multi-meters,power supplies, power meters, BER Testers, and switching matrixes
Fiber optic test development
