This is a longer-term internship with a minimum 6-month engagement.
As a Semiconductor IC Fab Process Development Intern, you will apply your semiconductor process and physics coursework to a variety of focused hands-on projects. You will be part of a world-class team creating state-of-the-art III-V semiconductor technologies. Projects will relate to semiconductor process development and improvement, and will be released to production in Keysight's semiconductor fab. Projects may be focused on PECVD, dry etch, electroplating, die fab operations, FIB/SEM...etc. This is an opportunity to develop real-world experience in a company that is a leader in the markets it serves.
Completion of senior year or pursuing graduate school in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or Physics at an accredited 4-year university.
Experience with advanced microelectronics processes is essential.
Specific skills in III-V device physics and processing are desirable.
Experience with electrical test, materials characterization and device modeling software is highly desired.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills for successful inter-group and intra-group interactions.
Must be highly motivated to accomplish all the tasks required to meet aggressive product development schedules and world class manufacturing expectations.
