Position Summary and Duties
The successful candidate for the Program Advisor position will be able to:
Work with all Professional MBA hybrid and online students to advise on program requirements, degree planning and other issues that impact successful degree completion.
Collaborate with Program Director and other staff to monitor schedule effectiveness and efficiency and make recommendations that support student and enrollment needs.
Maintain communication flow with all students through all appropriate means.
Review and approve graduation applications.
Work with the Records Office to monitor academic progress and initiate necessary academic actions.
Coordinate with Graduate Admissions and Records to ensure flow and accuracy of information from application through graduation.
Provide data for trend analysis and other reports.
Identify updates for catalogue and other communication tools.
Initiate and support special events for students.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3-5 years experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse populations.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
Strong competency in both oral and written communication.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities simultaneously and follow through on all phases to completion with minimal supervision.
Ability to support the mission and values of a Catholic Jesuit education, as well as University goals for institutional diversity.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business
Higher Education student service experience.
