As a member of Santander's retail banking division you'll help serve Santander's retail and small business customers as part of one of the top banks in the United States based on deposits. The Select Program Manager is the person responsible for coordinating and managing the Select program. This includes, the launch of Select branches, partnering with various lines of business (e.g. Consumer Products, Investments, Branch Transformation etc) to establish and execute the Select strategy. The position will work with the Sales & Service team and L&D to design training content and skill-builders to enhance Select Banker skill. In addition, the Program Manager would work closely with the Investment team to ensure coordination around licensing, relationship management, etc.


  • Responsible for the planning and launch of new Select branches

  • Responsible for end to end processes around Select (e.g. hiring, onboarding, ongoing management, branch launch, marketing etc)

  • Responsible for partnering with CRM and Retail Performance Management team to ensure portfolios are accurate, process is aligned with strategy, and incentive plan drives desired behaviors

  • Work collaboratively with training leadership to develop field execution strategies for webinars, in person meetings to bring projects to the field

  • Create skill building activities to support sales & service behaviors

  • Build skill builder library with job aids, scripting, skill builders to support network leaders in coaching to sales & service behaviors

  • Responsible for the Select programs for the retail network

  • Develop key partnerships with the product and Investment teams to develop and execute the customer strategy

  • Responsible for the readiness (skill, knowledge, etc) of the Select Banker population

  • Establish routines with the banker populations to ensure awareness of new initiatives, changes, strategic direction, etc

  • Consults with leadership, training, communications, operations, and segment

  • CRM and campaign management to ensure strong execution of programs, initiatives etc


  • 5-7 years of previous retail banking leadership experience

  • 3-5 years of experience managing retail branches

  • Ability to maintain a structured and targeted timeline for deliverable and communicate progress and deficits effectively

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment in a collaborative manner

  • Ability to work with all levels of leadership and influence others

  • Extensive knowledge on how to impact the consistent delivery of a sales and service process through a large sales force

VIEW JOBS 12/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-13T00:00 Background & Overview: The Office of Social Emotional Learning and Wellness (SELWell) is comprised of the following departments and programs: Athletics (ATH), Behavioral Health Services (BHS), Social Emotional Learning Instruction (SEL), Safe and Welcoming Schools (SAWS), Health Services (SHS), Opportunity Youth (OY), SEL Instruction and Support Services (SEL & I) , and the Health & Wellness Department (HWD). SELWell works across departments to provide an array of interdisciplinary services and supports to Boston Public Schools including: professional development, tiered instructional coaching, assessment & data management, program evaluation support, resource development and selection, and crisis responses. Target areas (prevention, intervention, intensive intervention, crisis/trauma response) include technical assistance/ implementation, marketing & communications, family engagement, and community partnership brokering & development, and skilled nursing care to students who require this. Position Summary and General Responsibilities: The Program Director will support the Senior Director of Health Services in directing the functioning of the School Health Services (SHS) department. The Program Director will help ensure the effectiveness of health initiatives within Boston Public Schools and manage the implementation of models of comprehensive school health services and the alignment of health services to maximize student outcomes in the classroom. The Program Director will provide direct clinical supervision and consultation to school nurses, principals and district leaders and work collaboratively with a contracted Pediatric Physician in reviewing student medical procedures within Boston Public Schools. The Program Director will serve as a BPS representative in partnerships with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and other external agencies involving health services as needed. As a part of a unified approach to health and wellness initiatives, the Program Director will supervise implementation of school health services programs. The Program Director will participate in reviewing grant opportunities within the health services arena to ensure alignment with BPS initiatives and appropriateness of implementation within Boston Public Schools. The Program Director will work with the body of nurses to provide ongoing monitoring and professional development around the use of the electronic record. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Management and Administration, Health Services * Assists Sr. Director in overseeing the nursing staff within BPS regarding clinical supervision and consultation * Works with the principals and headmasters on developing consistent and promising standards of practice standards for all nursing staff during the school year and during summer programs * Collaborates with the Sr. Director and the Project Manager to develop and implement effective systems, policies and procedures for improved operations * Supports Sr. Director to recruit, hire, assign and coach all Coverage Nurses, Substitute Nurses and Health Paraprofessionals * Directly supervise and evaluate Coverage Nurses, Substitute Nurses, and Health Paraprofessionals as assigned by Sr. Director * Assists School Leaders as needed with the evaluation of School Nurses * Consults on medical transportation requests * Assists in the development, implementation and management of partnerships with internal and external agencies regarding health initiatives within BPS * Supervises the implementation of the Comprehensive School Health Services Model and school health services programs in Boston Public Schools * Collaborates to develop and monitor section 504 Accommodation Plans necessary to meet student health care needs * Supports Sr. Director in successful collaboration with nurse labor management team * Works collaboratively with contractors and other administrators regarding the provision of quality health services to all students * Works with other departments within BPS in areas of student health and staff wellness * Along with the Sr. Director, develops budget, ensures timely and responsible use of all funds to purchase needed materials * Prepares ongoing data reports for the district to share with stakeholders * Formulates, assists in the writing of, and monitors funding opportunities and grants concerning school health services initiatives * Supports Senior Director in developing and writing district policies, ex Communicable Diseases, Environmental Hazards * Applies understanding of the influence of diversity (e.g., culture, language, SES, sexual orientation, race, gender) when designing and implementing interventions to support learning and behavioral outcomes * Serves on internal/external committees as requested by the Senior Director, such as the District Wellness Council * Performs other related duties as requested by the Senior Director Professional Development * Coordinates, supervises and provides professional development opportunities for nurses and other school staff related to school health initiatives or priorities.
