Job Description:

The Segment Marketing Lead will be responsible for articulating a segment marketing plan for the business lines s/he covers, drawing from a central campaign plan, sales enablement strategies, and thought leadership content agenda.

Account management skills and expertise will be critical including balancing the needs of key Sales and RM leaders with the goals of Fidelity Institutional and the broader business.

The Expertise You Have

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree, advanced degree a plus.

  • 7+ years of experience working in financial services industry in a content strategy related capacity

  • Institutional Investor market experience a plus

  • Expertise in account management

  • Outstanding communications skills

  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 are a plus

  • Proven experience developing account-based marketing programs

  • A strong understanding of institutional client segment needs and business priorities

  • Familiarity with segment marketing, marketing campaigns, and lead nurturing

  • Ability to effectively collaborate across the Marketing team and with senior business partners

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills

  • A sense of urgency, integrity, and purpose

  • Deep knowledge of financial services investment products

  • Ability to run multiple projects, identify risks and opportunities

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically

  • Willing to take action to drive initiatives forward, challenge conventional thinking and provide compelling debate and dialogue to move from idea generation through approval and implementation

  • Strong sense of accountability owning successes and failures

  • Exceptional organizational skills, consistently setting and meeting deadlines, prioritizing or re-prioritizing, and using outstanding judgement in engaging senior resources

  • Create account-based marketing programs that align to business priorities

  • Work across the team to align segment priorities with campaigns and thought leadership

  • Provide clear direction and oversight to segment marketers and project managers

  • Ensure internal, public, and client-facing materials are in-compliance

  • Ability to "connect the dots" across FI and the Fidelity organization, considerate of opportunities and needs in all major channels

  • Maintain an open and collaborative approach to work while driving a test and learn approach

  • Define and execute on segment marketing programs

  • Ensure messaging alignment across FI, marketing campaign and thought leadership

As a Director of Asset Management Segment and Solutions Marketing, you will help develop and execute product marketing plans that will differentiate Fidelity's sustainable (ESG) investing products and solutions and other products in the marketplace. You will work closely with the Team Lead and will have responsibility for creating and delivering on an array of investment product marketing activities, including competitive analysis, cross-firm program tracking and measurement, message development, collateral, launch support, and digital content. This role involves leading work that will be leveraged by our intermediary, retail and institutional channels. This is a diverse and fast-paced marketing role that provides the individual an opportunity to collaborate across the Marketing organization and with our newly appointed Corporate Sustainability Officer.
