Network and Security focused on implementation, upgrades, troubleshooting. Large-scale enterprise deployments of firewall and proxy technologies. Candidates must possess the ability to interact comfortably with clients and adapt to changing schedules and requirements.
Installation, configuration management and support of Network and Security related products as defined by Gotham statements of work and work orders.
Work on-site or remotely to diagnose and resolve both emergency and chronic problems related to availability, security, performance, connectivity and overall functionality.
Attend or participate in various product training sessions or classes in order to broaden skill set, obtain certifications, and maintain/enhance GTG's vendor relationships.
Lab GTG core technologies for additional experience and in preparation of obtaining necessary certifications.
Internal systems maintenance.
Develop complex workarounds in addition to reproducing issues in-house as needed in order to restore functionality at customers sites.
Manage workload efficiently while being able to resolve time-critical situations professionally.
Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Work with other teams and the GTG Support Desk as required.

5+ years of relevant experience deploying enterprisde firewall and proxy products. Check Point & Blue Coat a plus.
Experience with networking within large network environments and involvement with setup and administration of VPNs, IP load balancing, and GSLB. NetScaler a plus.
Previous employment with an integrator/reseller similar to Gotham is a plus
Strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as outstanding oral and written communication skills are required
Bachelors degree with a concentration in computer science, management information systems or related field or equivalent experience.
Check Point CCSE or similar
Cisco CCNP or CCIE Routing & Switching or Security a plus
Citrix CCP-N a plus

Responsibilities: * Help expand the usage of security monitoring tools to improve the security of the environment, including detection, prevention and policy enforcement * Serve as a subject matter professional for security monitoring and incident response related knowledge domain and tools * Drive automation and orchestration to improve efficiency and effectiveness of security monitoring and response processes * Maintain system documentation for security tools while performing system health checks; able to create test cases, scripts and lead the upgrade of security tools * Identify opportunities for efficiencies, as well as for improvements in security controls while leading the design and implementation of related improvements * Support all aspects of security tools, including architecture, engineering, operations, integration and advanced topics Qualifications: * Minimum of five years of security monitoring experience and incident response activities; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment, experience with IT process definition and/or improvement * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university * Experience providing engineering of on premises and cloud security monitoring implementations with familiarity of cloud computing concepts and top-tier cloud providers * Experience in architecture, design and administration of security monitoring tools, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxies, and SIEM * Basic knowledge in shell/bash scripting and/or Python; Certifications preferred: CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, MCSE, Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, AWS Certified Solutions Architect * US Citizenship is required KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
