As a Training and Support Specialist, you will perform a myriad of clerical/administrative tasks associated with the security forces. The Training and Support Specialist will ensure training is completed by all G4S employees. This client requires an extensive amount of training to remain a badged subcontractor onsite for both client and vendor employees. The Training and Support Specialist will complete a long-range training plan that will provide guidance on when and where training will be conducted. This will be followed will the appropriate muster sheets and documentation that will provide the client the satisfaction that training has been conducted satisfying all site requirements. This role is a non-union position.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Control, adapt, and maintain all aspects of training programs issued and used in the execution of services to the customer; consultation with internal and external customers to collaborate on changes to Post Orders, Training documents and the delivery of both

  • Provide security training and testing to all newly assigned security officers ensuring they can satisfactorily perform the duties assigned to each post

  • Provide ongoing security training for all security officers throughout the year to ensure they remain proficient in all duties assigned for each post. Assist in identifying training solutions to enhance operations

  • Provide direct support and assistance to Security Representatives in the day to day activities and operation of the account

  • Prepare formal and informal presentations, reports, metrics/stats, plans and trend data based on security activities occurring or forecasted

  • Processing badge and lock/key requests, information briefs and other documents

  • Provide support with security operations and respond to emergencies as needed

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:

  • Associate's degree or higher in any discipline

  • Service in the active duty military, military reserve or National Guard

  • Service in auxiliary police or cadets

  • Meaningful and verifiable work history

  • Minimum of one year verifiable and successful security experience

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Active listening skills

  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately

This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS * Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training effectiveness relative to implementing project requirements and safety regulations. * Support the creation and implementation of documents and training materials. Amentum has joined with Bechtel to create an LLC, known as the Waste Treatment Completion Company (WTCC) to construct, start-up and commission the world's largest radioactive-waste treatment plant for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in southeastern Washington state. The project will use vitrification technology to process and stabilize 53 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste currently stored at the Hanford Site which is a byproduct of plutonium-production during World War II and the Cold War era. The project is the largest undertaking of its kind ever and one of DOE's most technically challenging cleanup projects equivalent to building two nuclear power plants. Its construction site spans 65 acres and includes facilities for pretreatment, low-activity waste vitrification, and high-level waste vitrification, as well as an analytical laboratory. Minimum Requirements Education/Experience: Prior safety instructor experience in construction or general industry.
